Commissioning is a relatively new field in mission critical construction, but a mature, well defined one within traditional building envelopes. The role of being a second set of neutral, agnostic eyes on plan review and building performance envelopes has been the established purview of the commissioning role in the past. In today's complex mission critical environments, the Cx role has become more important than ever. It reinforces the soundness of the design, from an engineering standpoint, while examining the stability of the installation from field review standpoint. KIMC has the engineering resources available to independently verify your facility, your design, or your idea from an electrical, mechanical and/or building envelope perspective. The latest techniques in Cx review now incorporate true technology commissioning reviews. In it, KIMC will work with an organization's IT infrastructure to ensure that not only the building itself and its specialized MC infrastructure is commissioned, but all technology related gear is equally commissioned.
